The weather has been beautiful but very, very dry with super low humidity. We have 3 staff members hand watering at all times with the primary objective of keeping sod alive. It needs irrigated (via a hose) 2x a day at a minimum. On top of that, there is a stiff breeze that keeps everything dry. We are hoping for rain on Friday. At this point, there is only a 60% chance. Rain would allow us to free up that labor for other projects and tasks that are priority. As you can see above, a majority of the staff is working hard to get all the mulch and pine straw spread. The golf course looks great and it's nice to see things getting wrapped up. In 2 weeks, it will be a different place!
