Wednesday

The existing court that was stripped of sod, was rototilled and ready for laser leveling.  It is important to loosen the sand prior to rolling and leveling.  Below, the end result is a surface as slick and smooth as glass.

The laser level is a box blade on a small tractor that communicates with a tripod set to a specific grade.  As the tractor pulls the blade in a circular manor, the blade raises and lowers as needed (automatically) to create the chosen grade.

You can see the start of the dry creek bed at the base of the hill.  Boulders are being recessed in the bank at various places to add character to the slope.  On April 11th, 20 plus trees and large shrubs are being delivered to landscape this slope.

Below, granite countertops were installed in the new building today. While we did this, we decided to replace the concrete counter on the existing pavilion with granite to match the other.
