A golf course like HCC in a temperate rain forest (100" annually) is bound to have perennial wet areas. Many of these areas are along cart paths where water and sediment collect. Rock drainage basins like this new one on #11 are a nice solution to collect water provided they don't come into play. This is just past the men's tees so the chances of it coming into play isn't a concern.
