More from Thursday

Lyn and Baldemar are rebuilding the original native stone wall above the new croquet court.  We are fortunate to have these guys on staff with their talent to be able to tackle some of these jobs.  It has certainly saved the Club some expenses over the years. Below, they also constructed a knee wall around our chemical fill station to prevent rainwater from entering and filling up the spill containment basin.  This has been a challenge since 2011, when the building was first constructed.  The surrounding area is low and during heavy rain events, the water backs up from the creek on #1 causing much of the area to flood.

The white lines above mark the 10' wide driveway to be paved to access a residential area near the croquet court.  Either side of the road will be heavily landscaped.
