Its that time of year! Over 300 tons of sand is being applied to all of the fairways as part of our annual sand topdressing program. Sand topdressing promotes drier and firmer surfaces.
The crew is busy spreading sand in the bunkers. We will run our tamper through every bunker once, compacting the 6" of sand to the desired 4" and then double check the depth. Doing this now will make the bunkers more playable come April and May.
