The Carolinas GCSA held their winter meetings in Charleston, SC this past Sunday-Tuesday. The event featured a day of education and a day of golf at Bulls Bay GC. This was Michael Stantz's last design before he passed away at the young age of 50. The course was in fantastic shape and the comraderie was even better. A Club General Manager from Columbia, SC did a 4 hour seminar on financial management that was average. At HCC, Greg and the Board of Governors challenge us department heads consistently that many of these education events become elementary compared to what we do at HCC. It show the level of understanding and responsibility is much higher and more refined at the greatest club in North Carolina- that's right, Highlands CC. It's a fact and we (my entire staff) are proud to be a part of it. It is also wonderful working for a Club that always supports continuing education.
