This week's forecast is calling for much colder temperatures today and through the first of the week. This morning it was 17* and has only reached 22* as of 9 am. Moving into Tuesday night temperatures will increase, reaching 50 on Wednesday, and even possibly into the 60's on Thanksgiving day. There is a slight chance of rain on Saturday, which will hopefully be out by the start of next week.
This week on the golf course bunkers will be our main focus. With all of the bunkers shoveled out we are starting back on #1 working on the clean-up details needed prior to removing the liner. This morning we have one crew working on locating the edge of the liner, and another removing staples from the bunker floor and rolling the liner. For some bunkers this has turned out to be a challenge due to the amount of encroachment along the edge. In some bunkers this has turned out to be over 3'! This is mainly due to sand splashing and building up over time. By the end of this week we will have the bunkers prepped and ready to by sprayed weather permitting. Tuesday we will mowing greens and fairways, along with changing cups. Please continue to check back with us through the week for any updates on our projects!
