Due to this weather system that has given us nearly 1" of rain, the golf course will remain Cart Path Only today. Tomorrow is looking like a gorgeous day; sunny and a high of 65* and we hope to open up fairways to cart traffic once again. We mowed greens, rolled greens, mowed intermediate rough and fairways until 9:30am at which point water started to puddle on greens and fairways. When that occurs, mowers obviously won't cut and damage is probable. That is the sign to get mowers off the course. The mowers were pulled after 10 holes but we did get all pin locations changed. It looks like a nice day for college football since the radar has this system hanging around until 4pm.
