This weeks forecast is calling for some wet weather through the start of the week. With showers continuing through most of today and into tomorrow our rainfall total from the weekend will continue to pile up. Later in the week, hopefully things will clear out allowing the golf course to dry out some as well. Temperatures will be consistent in the 70's, and drop slightly on Friday with a high of just over 60*. Currently we have received over 2.5" of rain since Friday morning.
On the golf course this week we could really use a break in the weather! This morning we will be spraying our soils application on greens, which is one of the few items that will benefit from the rain. This application, contains multiple products that must be watered in order to reach the roots and be effective. Tuesday we will be aerifying greens along with spraying fairways. If the rain continues it will make both of these task quite challenging. Through the rest of the week we will be working in and around the rain to mow and blow leaves too. With such wet conditions we will have to allow things to dry out before we will be able to get back on our regular mowing schedule.
