The poor trout in the lake can't wait for cooler water temperatures! rain would at least help oxygenate the water. You will see them gathered at the bridge on #10 looking for colder water. Some are continuing to go far upstream.
We marked the golf course today- as we do every other week- as part of our Bob Jones Tournament preparations. The Bermudagrass on this pond bank is really doing well this summer. I am surprised it makes it through each and every winter in Highlands. It is a great bank stabilization turf for the pond. I am encouraging it to continue to spread!
