Wednesday

The poor trout in the lake can't wait for cooler water temperatures!  rain would at least help oxygenate the water.  You will see them gathered at the bridge on #10 looking for colder water.  Some are continuing to go far upstream.

We marked the golf course today- as we do every other week- as part of our Bob Jones Tournament preparations.  The Bermudagrass on this pond bank is really doing well this summer.  I am surprised it makes it through each and every winter in Highlands.  It is a great bank stabilization turf for the pond.  I am encouraging it to continue to spread!
