The small patches of white bentgrass on the 6th hole is a result of the tenacity chemical applied 2 weeks ago. A second application will be made tomorrow and a 3rd app will be made 2 weeks from then. This is one way to attempt to stay ahead of the bentgrass from infesting our roughs. Again, small areas are being treated and we will not make any large broadcast applications to the roughs at HCC.
