Bud Dalton
Highlands CC lost a good friend on July 6th in Bud Dalton. Bud spent much of his life owning and operating his own plumbing business. He regularly serviced the original HCC Clubhouse for Mr. Happoldt and more importantly installed the first real irrigation system the club had. More recently, from about 2009-2013 Bud worked with us at Highlands CC mowing fairways. He is the father of Jerry Dalton (our notorious rough mower) and grandfather of Paul Dalton (Head Mechanic) and Gary Dalton (Greenkeeper). At 87 years old, he lived a long good life with a great people around him. He was a true Highlander and will be missed by all that knew him.
