mower damage

There is no question we are cutting with sharp mowers.  Paul Dalton and Kevin Earp do a wonderful job everyday ensuring nothing but the sharpest of mowers leave the shop.  Every so often we cut something other than grass in the fairways.  Coins, ballmarkers, tees and other small objects are know to go through mowers, wreaking havoc with the reels.  Please be careful of anything you might drop in the fairway.  If you ever have to mark your ball for and extended period, perhaps a lightening delay, use something soft, like a wooden tee.  This way, if you don't make it back out and the operator on the mower doesn't see the tee, it won't damage the reel as much as something made of metal.  Your assistance here only keeps your golf course in better condition!
