It was a great day at CC of Sapphire Valley who hosted the Cashiers Historical Society's links of the past program. I was honored to represent HCC and present the history of the club to over 100 folks. They day wrapped up with a 4 hole hickory shafted golf club tournament in which Glen Davis, HCC member, participated in. Sid Matthew and Tom Fazio were other speakers. Again, it was just such an honor to be included in this group!

Sid Matthew brought many items from his collection. The ball above is from the mid 1920's period. Believe it or not, we have found 2 of these in recent years on HCC property.
