That is a pretty classy, yet understated look in my opinion.
Below, this is the 'muck bag' that sediment will be pumped into. This allows the water to drain out of the bag (and back into the lake), but contains the sediment. Once the sediment is dry, we will cut the bag open and haul it off site. The company and crew is set and plan to start pumping tomorrow. The first phase of the project uses just manpower in the form of 4 divers. Once the edges of the pond are clean, they will bring the floating barge in to pump the remainder of the sediment. I am really looking forward to seeing this process in action because this is one thing I haven't done before.
