This week continues to give some nice fall weather with cool mornings. We are in need of a little rain and hopefully Monday will deliver for us. It is rain that helps keep the perimeters of the golf course looking green! It is an action packed week with several spray applications falling on Tuesday. Specifically, Tees and Fairways. We had some minor dollar spot breakthrough on a few fairways since our last spray application. Therefore, I went to a 14 day interval as opposed to a 21 day interval. Also this week is the Highlands Mountain Cup on Tuesday and Fall Finale on Friday. We are ready for both! It's hard to believe Wednesday is October 1!
Monday, Koty and I will be at our Carolina's Golf Course Superintendents Association Fall meeting at Linville Ridge GC. As you may recall, HCC hosted this meeting last year.
