After the end of Match #1, we are just getting started! Its back onto the golf course for the HCC staff. At night, we are mowing greens again, filling divots, mowing approaches and fairways and mowing intermediate rough. Mowing greens at night gives us a good dry cut leading to increased green speed. We mow the fairways at night during the M/G Tournament because there simply isn't enough time to mow in the morning given the 8:30 shotgun start. We will be back at it at 4:30am tomorrow morning! While the M/G always is a lot of work, we look forward to showing off the course in it's best shape. We take a huge amount of pride in preparing for both the Men's and Ladies M/G Tournaments at Highlands CC.
