As you know we have a couple cart path sections on the course that are surfaced with concrete rather than asphalt. The primary reason is we couldn't get the bulky paving equipment to these areas when the cart path renovation was done in 2010 and 2011. To get rid of the bright white concrete, I sprayed them with an acid stain. Acid stain creates a chemical reaction that changes the color of the concrete. It comes in a variety of colors although I have never had too much luck getting it the color I wanted. My goal is to turn the color to more of a natural stone color. Above, you can see the definitive before and after effects. This particular stain was purchased through the Home Depot via their website.
