Now that we are healed from aerification, rolling has become part of our regular routine. Our greens management program looks like this:
Monday: double cut
Tuesday: double cut and roll
Wednesday: double cut
Thursday: double cut and roll
Friday: double cut
Saturday: single cut and roll
Sunday: single cut
Bunkers are checked weekly to ensure the sand has a proper depth throughout the bunker. We shoot for 4" in the bottoms and 2" on the faces.
Our lily pads are returning on #2 pond. It is my hope that these will one day cover a majority of the pond.
This past week, we have been seeing some thinning in the roughs. Upon closer inspection, we are dealing with some minor leaf spot in the rough. This disease can be easily cleaned up with a fungicide mix.
