The stone work additions around the croquet pavilion is officially complete. The surrounding area of the stones is a compost/seed mixture of Perennial Ryegrass and Fine Leaf Fescues. We will have germination in 5 days or so. The area will look good for the Striker opening party next Thursday. After seeding, we applied a starter fertilizer (10-20-20) and will be watering the area intensely for the next week. Please pardon the mud areas and stick to walking on the stones. The brief disruption will pay off in the next few months. Ideally, this should have been a winter project but it was important to several Striker members it get done ASAP. It was certainly no small task.
