Wednesday

We are "circle cutting" fairways today for the first time of the year.  This allows the turf to be cut in numerous directions resulting in a top quality cut.  During the season, we do this 2x per month.  It helps keep the turf standing upright, as opposed to laying over.

The golf course maintenance staff is responsible for landscaping the new LEC.  Since this is a pretty big job, we are getting started on some infrastructure like curbing.  Once the construction crew is out of the way, we will begin to install the plant material off our Mary Palmer Dargan plan.
