Equipment

You may notice some heavy equipment sitting in the clubhouse parking lot. This is not that of the contractors working on the 2 homes around 9 green. Course Crafters started delivering equipment fir the renovation to start on the PG and #11, the first week in November. As I mentioned previously, a portion of the PG will remain open for the remainder of the year. #11 green contruction will begin first because we are using material from the PG on this project. We will keep 11 green open as long as possible. If we need to close the green, we will resort to a temporary green. If you play golf in November, we appreciate your patience and know that next year you will have a much improved practice green and eleventh green! You may also see some painted lines on the ground all around the course. Koty and I went out and re-squared up most of the tees. These will be resodded in the next few weeks and will give the tees a more definitive look. There are also some general resodding areas where bentgrass contamination is causing us to resod with new Kentucky Bluegrass as we do 2 acres each year.
