This time every year, Flotronex comes and services the pump station that serves as our irrigation source. Overall things looked pretty good but wear is very evident on the pump shafts. In fact, all three shafts will need to be replaced in the next 2 years. This service is much like one you would do to a car. They inspect all areas in and around the pumps, change the oil in the pumps etc. At HCC, we have three pumps in the building; a 25,50 and 75 horsepower pump. When all three pumps are running, we have the cpacity to pump 1000 gallons/min.
