Aerification of Approaches
As you have noticed of late we are performing alot of cultural practices on the golf course. Aerification is a process that can result in many benifical factors for our turf. The following are 3 of the more notable changes during aeration, it relieves soil compaction, provides an opportunity to improve soil composition around the upper portion which contains large amounts of the plants roots, and can also reduce and help prevent build up of excess thatch. Much like mentioned on the post on #12 fairway this process is done with our greens aerifier to provide a tight spacing resulting in more holes and better results!
