Today we topdressed the range tee and fertilized it with a 25-5-11 fertilizer analysis. This will help the tee recover from wear and tear over the season. Sand topdressing levels the surface by filling low areas (divots). It also firms the surface by diluting the thatch layer. This is the same process we perform on fairways during the off season. We left an area untouched so we can move the stands around and not have to resort to putting golfers on the mats for the week.
