Flowering Rhododendron

In a few more days, the hybrid rhododendron will be spectacular. Many are in full bloom while others are just getting started. Any rhododendron that has a colored flower is hybrid. This also means it was planted at some point. Native rhododendron have only white flowers. Natives do not flower every year.
