This morning the temperatures dipped down to about 30 degrees. While this will not harm the grass in any way, it will slow it down. I decided to give the greens the day off from any rolling or mowing because we are still getting some sand from our aerification processes. This can be very abrasive to the turf...particularly if it isn't growing and able to recover. Instead, we will be making a nutrient application (spray) to the greens. This cold spell is only to last 3 days or so and more beautiful weather is scheduled for the weekend. Happy Golf!
