Grinding mower reels is one of many projects we focus on in the winter. Greens mowers are ground about every three weeks throughout the year. However, winter time allows us to catch up and get a fresh grind on all cutting units. This Foley reel grinder is a $55,000 piece of equipment used in our shop. Paul Dalton and Lee Zoellner are responsible for all equipment maintenance at Highlands CC. This is no small task and both are extremely talented!
