This often we have some small projects to accomplish around the croquet lawns to enhance that experience. Above an below, we are coring our areas around the larger of the two pavilions to expand the stone floor, to allow for more tables and chairs.
Below is an arched Trumpet Vine that grew around an arbor/bench that we built and placed in this location back in 2004. The arbor was tired and deteriorating, so we took it away. We removed it, not to bother the vine, which has 1-3" diameter trunks, after growing in this location for over 22 years. The vine is now standing on its own without any support! This will now be pretty unique feature provided it continues to stand through the elements.
