For the last few years, we've struggled with an area on #15 approach. We thought it was everything from a spring to old crushed drain line. Today, we made an effort to locate and clean all of the flush out ports and drainage outfalls on the putting greens. While running water down the flush out port on #15, Lyn noticed water bubbling from this area in the approach. It turns out, the drainage outfall from #15 green was cut, giving the water no where to go but up. It's pretty scary that the only way for water to exit the internal drainage under #15 green was to surface at this point in the approach. We will definitely be making this an annual inspection as opposed to every couple years. This good news is, this will solve the issues we've been having on this approach.
