The Green Committee is currently vetting projects for the coming winter. One of the projects we are looking at, and have studied with Ron Forse (our golf course architect), is the rebuilding and expansion of the tees on the 2nd hole. I'm excited about the possibilities with the back tee! This tee could more than double in size if we were to expand it farther to the right, provided we remove the large white pine that stands in the way. The photo below shows you the far edge of the proposed tee. I took a Google Earth image and inserted a rectangle to show you what I am referring to. It opens up a really interesting angle into the 2nd green. Again, this project is not officially approved just yet but it's one we are studying along with some other really neat improvements!
