Above, one of our two loads of sod was delivered this morning and is being placed on #2. Tomorrow, our 2nd load will finish the second hole and then we'll go back to #3 green surround. Our goal is to get the slopes covered as quickly as possible to eliminate any erosion during rain events.
We started blowing the golf course tees and fairways because we are planning to mow fairways for the 1st time this year, on Thursday and Friday. On Friday, we are also planning to triplex mow greens for the 1st time in 2023. The unseasonably warm weather makes it easy to want to jump the gun and do some things beyond mowing but we know there is a lot of cold weather we'll continue to experience between now and April.
