This morning we started removing sod around the green on #1. Resodding turf is a huge aesthetic improvement because it gives the green and fairway approach solid definition. We are planning to resod #1 green surrounds, all of the 2nd hole and a large portion of the 3rd hole, with funds allocated in the operating budget. Unfortunately our Kentucky Bluegrass rough becomes inundated with creeping bentgrass of time, causing the definition between surfaces to disappear.
At the practice facility, we removed the forms from the concrete and now filling in the surrounding ground to make it flush with the top of the cement.
