If you see the white lines by #7 green, you may wonder what is going on there. The answer is quite simple. The catch basin in this area is undersized, and when it rains hard and fast, it is quickly overwhelmed, causing water to continue down the bank into our neighbors yard. That homeowner is having trouble with erosion in his yard as a result. In order to correct this, we will be removing sod in this area and installing a much larger basin and exit pipe to keep up with the demand. We've always made it a priority to be a good neighbor to those who live around the golf course and part of that means responsibly dealing with sheet flow of water without dumping it on neighboring property. This project will be done in 2 afternoons and will be marked ground under repair (GUR) while the project is being done.
