On the beginning of #1 fairway you may notice a rectangular area painted out. I am experimenting with an herbicide that is new to me. Before we make any large broadcast applications, I want to be sure the older varieties of bentgrass in our fairways don't have adverse reaction to it or yellow as a result of the application. I am playing with different rates to judge the bentgrass' tolerance to the product.
