Interesting Golf Course Find…

Last week, while we were putting the finishing touches on a few of our projects, this steel implement was found buried on the 17th hole.  This isn't the first time we've found something that looks like this but it certainly isn't something we find regularly.  Our best guess is that it was a piece a steel used to connect some form of farming or grading equipment to a team of horses or mules during the construction of the back nine in 1930.  I find it fascinating to think about what other equipment might be hidden below ground on the Highlands CC Campus!
