Greens are being topdressed heavily today to prepare for core aeration later this week. The greens will be punched with 5/8" hollow tines. The sand is applied first to eliminate the need to drive heavy equipment on the greens after the are softened up by core aeration. While no one likes this process, including me, but it is required for the well being of your greens. Greens that aren't properly maintained this way suffer from a host of issues that ultimately makes them unplayable.
Above, the final product of our new trash receptacles constructed in house! Matthew and Darren did a fantastic job on these. Remember, the horseshoe handle are made from shoes that were found on site! The reason for the lid, is to keep birds and other animals from getting into the trash.
