Friday

We started patching the cut lines on cart paths that were made during the irrigation installation. We are using concrete for a number of reasons.  The main one being asphalt isn't available until later in the Spring, in Highlands.  Also, asphalt contractors are crazy busy.  On a personal level, I signed a contract to have my  driveway resurfaced with asphalt so this local company would put me on their schedule.  Right now, the earliest they will get to me is July of 2023!  That's right...a year and half from now.

All of the putting greens on the golf course and the practice facility have been aerated and cleaned up.  Below, you can see the equipment in action that saves us a tremendous amount of time by dragging the aeration plugs with it, rather than us manually doing it.

Sodding behind the #18th green.  Soil was hauled in to make the slope below the hemlock hedge more gradual. If your ball finds its way back here, your chances of a good lie are better than they've been in the past!

It's getting greener by the day!  It certainly won't be long!

This 10" HDPE line on #10 is what connects the irrigation on #10 to the irrigation at #1 tee, allowing water to reach the front nine. This connection was complete today.
