You can see by the photos it's a very foggy day in Highlands, with rain moving in tonight and lasting through tomorrow. We are in the process of removing all of the Kentucky Bluegrass sod around the green, going all the way back to the tunnel. There will be some subtle reshaping of the ground between the cart path and the green. Behind the green, the wet area will be raised up a foot and then all brand new sod will be installed from the lake bank to the tunnel. This will really improve the 18th hole and the aesthetics behind the green. This is one of two green surrounds getting new sod this winter; the other being #15.
