All of the sod on #18 from the lake to the tunnel has been removed. This entire area will be resodded with new Kentucky Bluegrass. Before that happens, we are doing some minor shaping changes of the area between the green and cart path. We are cutting in a swale of sorts, that will redirect surface water flow and also serve as a way to help slow golf balls down that are headed for the cart path. The soil that is being removed from this area, is being trucked to the low area behind the green, that has been an eye sore for some time now.
If you look closely on either side of the approach, you can see white lines. These lines are the approximate expansion of the approach according to our Master Plan.
