Despite a morning temperature of 23*F, it warmed up enough this afternoon to allow us to continue deep-tine aeration on greens.
On #15 today, we had two excavators on site, one passing sediment to the other. The excavator on the bank was able to load the spoils into dump trucks, where is is being hauled off-site. In total, I estimate we will remove nearly 1000 cubic yards of sediment from this pond.
On #5, right side of the hole next to the landing area, we are physically removing a HUGE amount of invasive English Ivy, that has taken over the woods. The amount of lost balls in this area is incredible! I can't wait for you to see this spot when you return...talk about a huge improvement!!
Finally, on #8, a small team of our staff is working to locate infrastructure below the surface of the green surround. Major drainage enhancements are going to start here in the next couple weeks.
