We finally received Army Corps of Engineers permission to begin removing sediment from the pond on the 15th hole. There isn’t anything more rewarding than watching the excavator bucket cut through the excess sediment. The contractor will work all the sediment to the edge of the pond, where a 2nd excavator will set it up on the bank to “de-water” before being hauled away.
