After a season full of continuous play, combined with excess shade in this area, #17 Ross Tee has thinned out quite a bit. This afternoon, before the rain started, we were able to aerate the tee, hoping to create a seed bed for the bentgrass seed that was applied just after. Sodding this tee was an option however, that would take it out of play for a number of weeks. The plan is to get through the remainder of this season and then re-sod in late fall.
