A bear discovered the flagstick on the 3rd green last night. Bears bat the fiberglass flagsticks around as a form of play and stimulation. Once a bear discovers a flagstick, it's common for them to return to the green in the coming days and weeks. If this occurs one more time, we may have to start pulling flagsticks at night. Two years ago, we had a similar problem on the 2nd green. Not only did the bear knock the cup out of the ground like above, but he also dragged the flagstick off a couple hundred yards.
