My crew patiently awaits the arrival of the green group!

Camp Highlands week is always a fun week; fishing with the kids is something several of the staff enjoy to help with. Today's trophy catch was a 17" rainbow trout caught on a worm. Overall, it was a very slow day on the water with no more than a dozen fish being caught. Three fishing poles were broken by the 14" plus fish that were caught! Fishing continues for the next three days (Tuesday-Thursday) at 9:00 AM each morning. If you need to cross the bridge by cart, please take the long way around #15 via Hummingbird Lane for the safety of the campers fishing from the bridge.
