Tuesday

We rented a large asphalt roller for the next 2 days.  The purpose is to smooth out the greens and also any sod that was recently installed, if needed.  Gary is rolling #9 fairway which, helped tremendously!

The croquet lawn is being laser leveled today so it's ready for sod tomorrow morning!  The box blade on the tractor communicates with the tripods set off to the side.  The operator drives the tractor in circles and the box blade raises and lowers automatically as needed.

#15 is finally ready for sod!  By the end of next week (March 19th) I'd like to declare this project finished!

The white dotted line down the center is going to be an irrigation line we're installing with 6 sprinkler heads.  This will eliminate the need to drag hoses up the hill side.

On #12, we are just lacking the sand cap.  You can also see the drainage pattern below ground level.  Further below, the same can be said for #11 fairway.  The drain ditches are being filled with bunker sand that is being removed from the bunkers.  We are making good use of it.

Below, our team laid 2 truck loads of sod this week.  Below, you can see they are finishing up between #2 and #3.
