New BASF Program

One of my fellow Augusta National GC co-workers from 2000, is now working with BASF in customer relations.  He is heading up a new project designed to be a tool for superintendents to manage fungal diseases on bentgrass greens, tees and fairways.  At Highlands CC, we are working with BASF to test the program and offer feedback.  I provided them with GPS coordinates of three areas on the golf course that I consider indicator spots for various reasons.  They are then able to obtain weather and other data that helps with the decision making process on when to make preventative fungicide applications.
