Donald Ross was known for designing some of the greatest golf courses in the world. I also have a theory that Ross was not only passionate about golf, but sledding as well. The 3rd hole at Highlands CC is a prime example of a golf hole that doubles as an even better sledding run. The steep hill and banked side slopes create one of the finest sledding experiences anywhere. So while I don't particularly like snow, it's fun to take advantage of it every so often with the family. This is my daughter Anna, after I sprayed and polished the bottom of her sled with a silicon based lubricant! It was reminiscent of Clark W. Griswold sledding into the Wal-Mart parking lot on Christmas Vacation.
