Sledding Damage

When it snows, it's difficult to keep people off of the golf course with sleds.  While it seems harmless, it not only creates a safety and liability issue, but it could potentially damage playing surfaces.  These photos are from #2 green where the rails of the sled started to dig into the putting green.  Fortunately this is minor.  Historically, we have had some more significant damage on #17 green.

In 2002, a woman and her children, all non members, were sledding down 18 tees on tubes.  Without getting into the gory details, the mother of the group was seriously injured and was airlifted to Mission's Trauma Center in Asheville.
