Monday

Above: This gives you an idea of how much thatch and organic matter is removed from verticutting.

Above: We pruned back the rhododendron on #14 that required the golfer to hit over them from the tee.  This is allowing us to flatten this area and grass it to match the rough that exsists arount it.

Above: Below #12 Jones tee, there is a creek that we recently uncovered but still has numerous fallen logs across it that we are working to remove.  This feature has been hidden for 80 plus years!  This is one of the best parts of our job... uncovering the hidden beauty in and around the golf course and allowing  you to experience it for years to come.  Just wait until you return next spring!  There are many hidden "Easter Eggs" out there like this one that will make the Highlands CC experience even more special!

Above: We continue to improve site lines of the creeks on #11 and #12.

These next few photos allow you to appreciate how cold and frosty this morning was in Highlands!

Above: The network of tunnels this mole created is pretty impressine.  All this to find some nightcrawlers to eat.
